J.Crew, 2023–2026
As the design lead for our automated lifecycle marketing, I built a highly flexible, responsive component ecosystem that powered over 110 unique templates across our Welcome, Winback, and behavior-triggered programs. By designing modular layout blocks, I enabled our team to seamlessly scale hyper-personalized campaigns—from site abandonments to store receipts. This data-driven, scalable framework successfully balanced operational efficiency with premium brand integrity, delivering highly targeted customer experiences that consistently stand out as top revenue performers.


Scaling Email Strategy Through Component-Driven Design
I designed and built a modular component library engineered for ultimate flexibility and massive scale. This structure was crucial from day one, as the program launched with nearly 40 unique templates. Every component was crafted for a fluid, responsive template, designed to work flawlessly as a standalone feature or paired side-by-side in a two-column format. By creating an adaptable system rather than rigid, one-off layouts, I enabled the team to rapidly deploy a cohesive, large-scale program at inception while establishing a scalable framework built for seamless future growth.



Elevating Triggered Emails with Dynamic Marketing Content
To maximize the business impact of each milestone, I designed a suite of dynamic marketing components to seamlessly embed revenue and loyalty drivers directly into our lifecycle triggers. Rather than feeling like afterthought advertisements, these modules were meticulously styled to feel native to the core email layout. The system empowered our email teams to strategically append personalized, targeted content based on business priorities—whether upselling a complementary purchase, highlighting store services, driving J.Crew Passport loyalty sign-ups, or converting non-subscribers to our marketing list. By leveraging customer data to serve the right message at the right time, we successfully integrated high-value business goals into a premium, cohesive user experience.


Bluecore Triggered Series
Partnering with third-party vendor Bluecore, I designed a flexible template and component system that dynamically populates emails based on real-time shopping behavior, including site abandonments, post-purchase follow-ups, and low-inventory alerts. This architecture allowed us to deliver highly targeted messaging tailored to individual customer preferences throughout the shopping funnel. By pairing precise behavioral data with seamless design, these automated triggers have consistently stood out as some of our strongest-performing revenue drivers.


Welcome & Winback Programs
I designed and regularly optimized our foundational Welcome and Winback lifecycle programs, which combined feature nearly 40 unique emails that dynamically adapt based on customer interactions. The Welcome series introduces the brand while capturing critical preferences for accurate profiling, while the Winback program strategically re-engages inactive subscribers. By delivering these highly tailored experiences, the system effectively safeguards our active file—leaning into the reality that retaining an existing customer is far more cost-effective than acquiring a new one.
